Once every seven years, for one week, the Norse gods are forced to walk the Earth as mortals as a punishment for their father Odin. If they are killed, that mortal takes their place as a god until the next cycle. This week on Earth is called 'The Hunt' by all those who participate.

You, an Avenger, are walking home one evening when you accidentally save a god from the worst fate imaginable, intertwining your fates. You're about to discover a shadowy underside to your city, one which being an Avenger could never have prepared you for.
