United Terran (UT), an international organization that has been instrumental in the unity of the people of the Earth in the 22nd century, has transferred to the Luminarum, a new world that resembles Earth. The natives of the New World have a vast range of civilizations from the Alternative version of the Roman Empire, Viking nations, Arabic Caliphate, Mongol Empire, Chinese Ming Empire, Japanese Shogunate, Spanish Empire, French Empire, British Empire, Third Reich, Soviet Union, and the United States of America. Unlike Earth, the planet boasts an unknown phenomenon to science: Magic. The native nations, which resemble the alternative civilizations in Earth's history, integrated their technology with magic to improve the quality of their technology. Hugo Van Dijks, the Secretary General of United Terran, is the most powerful leader on Earth to lead his people in the new world. He and the United Terran government, alongside International Consortium Companies, created a "Novus Ordo Project" for the prosperity of the people of United Terran and the natives in the world. Despite his best attempts at diplomacy and economic approach, the arrogance and hostility of the natives prove to be an unnavigable barrier. War is the only alternative. "si vis pacem, para bellum," "If you want peace, prepare for the war." What are the policies of the United Terran in the new world? How did they survive in a world infested with magic that defied the science law? What magical wonders will its adventurous citizens find? Can they become a "New World Order" in the new world? Could they improve their technology to advanced space technology with the help of magic? This story is the remake of the same story, "United Terran in New World," with some minor changes. The Strange God by Zpine_
11 parts Ongoing
There was once a being revered as a god in a universe with a trillion stars. How many of these stars could sustain life was unknown, but this universe no longer exists. When that universe disappeared, another took its place. It sprouted many new stars, and after a long time, life also followed. Many stars that established civilization still feel the echoes from the old universe. There was a legend that if an individual whispered a particular god's name and wished dearly, offering the most precious thing they had in return, it would grant them one wish. These wishes could be as simple as having food and shelter for a day or as outlandish as making someone fall in love with them or disappear from existence. This legend can be traced back to when sentient life forms developed ways of passing down verbal and non-verbal knowledge. The story comes in different versions, but the main message remains: one wish, one sacrifice, by one life. Strangely enough, this particular god received a series of peculiar wishes from different individuals across various stars in the new universe. Nameless god: "What is your wish?" Lucy: "To be reborn in a fantasy world with you as my father who loves me dearly until the end of my natural life." Nameless god: ┬─┬ノ(ಠ_ಠノ) Mike: "To relive my life with you as my lovely little sister." Nameless god: (╯°□°)╯( ┻━┻) Gabby: "Mom." Nameless god: ┻━┻ ︵ ¯_(ᴼل͜ᴼ)_/¯ ︵ ┻━┻ Nameless god: "Who is whispering my name to these people across the universe, spreading it like a common cabbage on the roadside!? Come out, and I promise I will not do anything ungodly. Let's talk about life, hmmm!!!" Unbeknownst to this god, there was more to his myth than he knew. +++++ Schedule: 1-2 chapters per week on Saturdays UTC-4 or GMT-4 at 2000 hrs|| GMT+8 at 0800 hrs +++++ Stay Safe and Healthy! **Synopsis:** On January 1, 2045, the tranquil Polillo group of islands is inexplicably transported to an alternate Earth, back to the late 19th century, a time marked by powerful colonial empires and intense geopolitical conflicts. In this alternate world, where the strong subjugate the weak, the Spanish Empire is in decline, and the islands must navigate this turbulent era with their advanced 21st-century technology and knowledge. Initially, the islanders concentrate on adapting to their new environment and managing the era's harsh conditions, including disease and limited resources. The East Philippine Sea Command, a modern military unit also displaced to this time, takes on the task of protecting the islands and gathering crucial intelligence. As Spain's hold on its colonies weakens in this alternate timeline, the islanders and the Command recognize their strategic opportunity. They begin to discreetly influence local dynamics, preparing to support the rise of the Philippine Revolution. Their objective is to navigate the complexities of colonial rule, contribute to the revolutionary cause, and subtly shift the balance of power in the region. In a world where colonial powers dominate and nations vie for control, the islanders and the Command play a crucial role in shaping the course of history, balancing their advanced knowledge with the realities of this alternate past to impact the future of the Philippines. --- Pictures, videos, and music used in the book are for reference purposes only and belong to their respective owners.
