Set in the 18th Century, Guy Fawkes was a 25 year old man, who wanted to cause chaos on the people, and got serious consequences for his actions. Angered by this revelation, The King Of United Kingdom wanted to catch him, but in the process of his investigation, he gets these random threat letters that don't make sense - because the one sending the letters wanted a copy of the novel, the King Of United Kingdom had wrote, solely for the purpose of Guy Fawkes to expose The King Of United Kingdom wrote on the novel. Because in the novel, he had written his motivations and why he keeps it a secret, that could potentially ruined his life as a king, once it got out in the public. Doesn't realize his life will get in danger, as Guy Fawkes (the letter sender) has created a revolutionary group known as The Troops, who are people that was once servants and people of the King. Knowing the full truth, they wanted to spread the word, wanting the people, to know who the king really was.

When Jake kills the stalker, he ends up killing himself too, and now Emily can only see him in her dreams. Now, she has to handle a lot more than his house and herself while he's gone because of there little camping trip.

The story is based on possible events that could occur in these days. Nobody knows what's out there on the internet, and what's in people's minds.
