Glimpse 

The storm outside pounded the windows, but the real tempest was in the room.

"Why can't you just leave me alone?" she screamed, her voice cracking with desperation. Her body was tense, ready to flee, but there was nowhere to run.

He stood unmoved, his gaze cold and unyielding. "Stop screaming," he commanded, his voice a dangerous whisper. "It's not good for you."

She laughed bitterly. "If you care, then respect my wishes and let me go."

In an instant, he closed the distance, gripping her wrist firmly. "I didn't survive all that chaos just to let you walk away," he said, his voice low and intense. "You complete me. I won't let you go."

Tears welled in her eyes, but she held them back. "Please, just let me go. You've already taken what you wanted."

His grip tightened, his voice a dark, deliberate whisper. "You're right. I have what I want-" He leaned in closer, his breath warm against her skin. "-and that's you."

Outside, the storm raged, but the real storm was between them, far from over.
