The Hawkins gang (el, mike, Lucas, max, Dustin and will) have now gone off to college and have all decided to put their money together and move into their own house together since after all the events that have happened to them in Hawkins all their parents were worried about something happening to them when they leave for college so they all decided to go to the same one together and fortunately they all got accepted into NYC college.

Mike and Will have been dating since they were 17 during the events of s5 (this story is set after s5) and are now 18. Will has been dealing with a lot of stress and his mental health since everything that's happened to him but is trying to block it out for the wellbeing of Mike and his friends. Despite all of this, Will is a lot happier than he used to be and so is everyone else.

Although one issue does arise and it's simple. Mike and Will have to try and 'fit in' as an out same sex couple in a much larger and busy place than before. Finding jobs is tricky and people often give them weird looks in public which causes issues between them.

As a now 'adult couple' they are expected to do 'adult things' but they're unsure whether they're ready to do something like that and take such a huge step. Not to mention everyone else keeps getting peer pressured to do things such as take drugs and beat someone up.

So how will they cope and will Mike and Will finally fit in with everyone else?
