It was all dark I was running in the middle of the forest unknown to the destination the darkness was getting deeper and depper with the forest

Light feels like got vanished from the earth
How will I found them how!!

I was all clueless in this dense forest there is nothing except the darkness or the long trees whose upperpart is disappeared due to darkness

Few drops of tears were Rolling down on my cheecks

What should I do where I will go there is nothing and a hope of escaping this place budded inside me

I ran towards it hoping it to be someone from my family But as I get closer to the light

I see a man standing there and I speed up but when I saw his face I got shocked how can this be possible

-- PROLOGUE "Let me get this straight. We have nothing in between us, except for the deal we made that day" he spoke in a monotonous tone. "I am the one carrying your name behind me; we are married. how can you say we have nothing in between us? Huh" She yelled at him, tears blurred her vision, and she spoke her heart to him. "For god's sake, this marriage was to save you! Can't you get that? I did not do it willingly, I do not love you!!" He yelled back at her, shattering her heart into pieces. "Why can't you just love me?" She spoke, as she cried the tears of hurt, and pain. Her heart thumped loudly due to the shivering sensation She felt all over her body. "I never made a commitment to you, or gave you any false hope, neither did i say that i love you. Did i?" He asked her, in a very cold tone. She looked at him through her teary eyes. It's getting difficult for her to even breathe. "It was your eyes, the damn eyes. Who gave me the false hope. They say, "Eyes speak the truth," but what about mine? Couldn't you feel the sincerity within them, expressing my deep affection for you? Why didn't you see the love shining in them? Was it too complex to understand? Couldn't you notice the warmth as they gazed at you? They search for you in every corner, If only you realized how they silently echoed the emotions I couldn't articulate. They say, "Eyes never deceive." But what about yours? They played a trick on me when they met mine, painting a facade of a world that wasn't real. They made me feel loved, Leading me into a belief that crumbled, louder than your spoken promises. Why did they betray me? Was it your eyes or you that masked the truth?" He stayed still, not moving or saying anything at her statement. --

༺𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 "𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐃"𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒༻ ----------------------------------------------- "Verdant, leave me! What am I to you? A possession? An obsession? Leave me right now!" I yelled, trying to knock some sense into him. He slowly brushed a strand of hair behind my ear, making me feel things I didn't want to. His hand grazed my waist, the warmth of his touch brushing against my bare skin, as my top lifted slightly due to the position he held me in. He touched his forehead to mine, closing his eyes as I did, the intimacy of the moment wrapping around us. "You're my first and last love, darling. You're not just the water I need, you're the oxygen I struggle to breathe. You're my best, my worst, my life, my world. You're mine." At the last words, he placed a gentle kiss on my forehead. The soft touch calmed my muscles, but my mind was still a battlefield. Two months before my marriage, Jai used to write poetry, say sweet things, and do all these little romantic dramas. All men are manipulators. I know Vedant isn't, but I can't trust anyone right now. I wanted to push him away. "You really think you can manipulate me with sweet words? You're a manipulator, aren't you? At the end of the day, you're forcing me to choose you. And what's worst about men is that you only think about yourselves. You want me, but what about me? You never prioritise me!"

"Just shut the fuck up Mia" he yelled at me. I flinched from his sudden outbrust, closing my eyes tightly i was trying to gulp the vile in the back of my throat. " You have destroyed the only hope which could have save our relationship" he spat angrily but his voice broke. I looked at him, his eyes are also glistening from tears. I was disgusted with me that i was the cause he was crying. I took a step near him to hold him. I couldn't loose him. He was my only hope, my only best friend, i could never thought to hurt him like that but in contrary i had done the exact same thing. "Don't you dare to touch me" he took a step back, i looked at him with shock. I knew what was going to happen next but i didn't want it to happen. " I won't ever forgive you Mia, i won't. I'm going far away from you from your sick lies. don't show your face ever again." He spat angrily, wiping the tears with back of his hand. I looked at him with horror. " Alex please, Alex please don't go Alex please i.." i shut my mouth when i saw eyes which are filled with rage, disgust, hate, pain like he was daring me to say anything. "Never ever take my name again, you'll pay for it Mia, i'll make you pay." those were the last word i heard coming out of his mouth. He turned his back towards me and walked away from park. I looked at him, my eyes were sowllen tears were streaming down to my chin, my shoulder were shaking. I slumped in the ground, my knees hit the ground. I cried my heart out as i saw him disappearing in the darkness.

In the quiet corners of my heart, I kept a secret garden-a fragile bloom of love that I tended with care. It was for someone who never truly belonged there. His touch was like frost on petals, beautiful yet cold. His words, sweet as honey, dripped with deception. I loved him with a fervour that blinded me to the truth sometimes love is a cruel mirage. But as the seasons changed, so did my perception, revealing the fault lines of our mismatched souls. He was the wrong puzzle piece, forcing himself into spaces where he didn't fit. And I, foolishly, tried to mould myself to his edges. The pain of loving the wrong person is a silent ache-an ache that gnaws at your spirit, eroding the very essence of who you are. It's the realisation that you've been watering a barren tree, hoping for blossoms that will never come. Yet, I clung to him, desperate for validation, afraid of the void that would follow if I let go. But life has a way of surprising us. In the quiet aftermath of heartbreak, when tears blurred my vision, I stumbled upon a different kind of love. It wasn't loud or tempestuous; it was a gentle whisper-a warm breeze that carried away the debris of shattered dreams. 𝓓𝓮𝓿 appeared like a sunrise after a storm, illuminating the corners of my wounded heart. He was the right puzzle piece missing half of my soul. His laughter was a melody that resonated with mine, and his touch ignited constellations within me. We built a love that didn't need mending, for it was whole from the start. In his arms, I found solace, and in his eyes, I glimpsed eternity. The pain of loving the wrong person prepared me for the miracle of finding the right one. It taught me that scars can heal, and broken hearts can bloom anew. Now, as I stand on the threshold of forever, hand in hand with the one who fits seamlessly into my existence, I honour the past wrong turns, the tears, and the silent battles. For they led me to this love that feels like coming home.
