Tara and Cairo have been going to school together since kindergarten. While the two aren't particularly good friends, they do get along.

Although they seem like polar opposite's - their shared love for poetry and literature connects them. 

Despite Cairo and Tara not having anything else in common, they've always had an interest for the other.
