When you hear the words "an easy job, well paid" in Night City, you can be sure that something is gonna go wrong and the payout will be either inadequate or nonexistent, as Taehyung finds out. Betrayed by his employer, mutilated and left for dead he's brought to a reclusive ripperdoc named Yoongi, who patches him up and equips him with cybernetic implants. Taehyung goes back to the city searching for his boyfriend, revenge and answers.

As it usually happens in Night City, nothing is as it seems at first glance. A mystery that seems easy to solve turns into a complicated intrigue involving not only gangsters, but also employees and CEOs of the biggest corporations in the world. Soon, long-hidden secrets come to light, and the line between friend and foe becomes dangerously thin.
