Steven Universe : The Forgotten Prince
Kidnapped at birth. Raised by tyrants. Built to break the very world that should have been his home. In this alternate‑universe retelling, Steven never grows up in Beach City. Instead, he is taken from Earth as an infant and forged into Pink Diamond, Facet 2: Homeworld's flawless heir, living weapon, and living reminder of everything the Diamonds lost. For fourteen years he walks the gleaming halls of Homeworld as a pampered prisoner, adored, displayed, and endlessly corrected. Yellow drills him into the perfect strategist. Blue shapes his every feeling into a performance. White demands a spotless mind and absolute control. Steven learns to smile on command, heal on command, shatter on command-until he no longer knows where their expectations end and his own heart begins. Then a routine mission sends him to a forgotten backwater planet called Earth. A sleepy beach town, a crumbling temple, and a handful of stubborn humans begin to unravel everything he's been taught. Memories that should not exist claw at the edges of his mind. A familiar song on the wind hurts more than any Diamond's punishment. The "monsters" he's ordered to eliminate know his name before he speaks. Torn between the family that raised him and the family that lost him, Steven must decide what kind of prince he wants to be: the perfect Diamond weapon who finally proves his worth, or the flawed, human boy who refuses to let an empire decide who he is. Love tried to save him once. This time, he has to save himself.
Consequences
Steven, Homeworld, Danger... Diamonds... Those words don't sound too comforting together, right? Who said this was a comforting story? For Steven and the gems, things finally don't go right. When Steven is separated from Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl during the attempt to retrieve his father from the zoo, he is found, and quickly identified as a rose quartz gem... and not just any, but the rebellion leader's own son. Blue and Yellow Diamond create a master plan to finally eliminate the Crystal Gems, and Steven is the key to doing so. All they have to do is play a game of emotions, and things will soon fall into their hands, due to a very unlikely snitch. Will Steven be able to resist the Diamonds and escape, or will Steven's Universe crumple because of himself? (Rated T, to be on the completely safe side, but I seriously doubt there will be anything too bad in my fanfiction, as I am trying to make it as close to the style of the show as possible! Imagine Beach City. A normal city, normal people, normal society, a normal school. Or, at least, one can only assume so. Some might say that their school is abnormal because of the people in it. This takes place after the spinel incident and steven meets a whole new family moving to beach City! Steven looks different compared to when he was kid, but after white diamond removed his gem he began to notice that something wasn't quite right so he went to the mirror and look at whats different and to his surprise, his hair was turning pink but thats not all he noticed, his Gem...it began to rotate to that of a diamond so he did the only thing he could think of, he went to the diamonds about this, so say they were shocked was an understatement, so white diamond began to explain that maybe when she removed his gem, the gem itself began to make changes because your human half can't take the diamond powers that are showing so it maybe changing you to be a half-Diamond, steven understood that his gem was only doing what it thought was protecting him. So he just let it happen even though it was hurting when his gem was rotating but white diamond said that it might take awhile for it to rotate. So he was just walking around in pain but doesn't let it affect him and he didn't tell the gems of the new changes yet.
