At the Back of the Library || On Hold

For most students at Gateway Middle School, library class is just a way to pass the time. The librarian, Ms. Anderson, has given up on teaching them, and pretty much allows them to do whatever they want.

Like most of her friends, Ashley Ramdial would suffer through library without her phone to keep her from dying of boredom. And when she leaves it at home, she has nothing to do but wander dejectedly through the dusty shelves, hoping for a miracle.

Little does Ashley know that she will find one, as soon as she finds the only book in the entire library that she probably wants to read. Outgoing, popular basketball player Sean Singh decides to bring her into his life, and - but he doesn't know it yet - his heart.
