Grian is normally a friendly guy, to...pretty much everyone. Which is why the other hermits have made a secret game of trying to figure out who he likes. Although he plays along, he doesn't have feeling for anyone. Yet... After an incident, Grian's pretty scarred. One day, Scar's on his doorstep and Grian slowly starts contemplating the feelings that he's even been hiding from himself.
BTW: i only put "mature" bc some people don't like reading stuff like abuse, kissing, mental insanity, etc. I'll put detailed TWs if i feel like it might trigger.

GUYS STOP READING THIS 😭😭😭 The setting is set in season 7. A prank goes wrong, and many people get injured, but Grian gets the most out of it. Scar helps him recover, and realizes he has feelings for Grian. will Grian feel the same way, or will he not forgive Scar for what he's done? Not my art! Sam was gone, for good, Mumbo had killed him and he hadn't respawned. He was dead. Grian trusted in the kindness of the world and he opened up, but that was his biggest mistake. Because what if Sam wasn't dead? What if they had been tricked by a simple hack? What if Scar and Mumbo went missing? What if they were taken? Grian would have to find out the consequences of those 'what if's the hard way. A sequel to "Sam's Back", I suggest reading that first if you haven't already since otherwise this won't make sense. A YHS/Hermitcraft fanfic. Angsty. There's some mild Grumbo shipping but it could just be seen as platonic. Also Scar/Cub shipping, but only really at the very end and you can ignore it if you want.
