TL;DR: Lumine is trying to pull Xiao out of his isolation. She plans an event, he does not show. She goes to find him, almost dies. He saves her in an unconventional way, causing... unforeseen problems.

Lumine just wants to help. The pain in Xiao's eyes is apparent to anyone who looks, the problem is that so few do, and it breaks her heart. Xiao saved her life a few months back, and during this encounter, she saw his venerable side, the kindness he tries so hard to hide. She found herself slowly falling for this aloof man with the golden eyes. Those eyes, filled with equal parts sadness and longing melt her soul.
