Controlled, and dejected is the perfect way to describe seventeen year old Willow Marlowe's life.

Growing up in a strict, high standard religion that has shielded the ways of society from her innocent conscience, this is all she has ever known.

She has three rules; stay away from the despondent things that the real world offers, serve her religion to the best of her ability, and stay away from boys.

Willow has hated her unusual ways of life since she was old enough to differentiate good, from bad. Though, she has yet to peer into the ways of the real world, she knows she is living a dejected life and must leave to discover the world for herself.

But one thing is withholding her departure from all she has ever known. The rule that she is breaking, and the rule her father has ingrained in her mind since she was old enough to remember.

A boy, that of whom is her brother's best friend.

The boy, that she is willing to do anything for, and unapologetically, break the illicit rules.
