Two siblings were drawn in the reaping. One had a plan to keep the other alive and for them to win the game while the other made him promise if it came down to it to choose him over her, but he loved her too much to let that happen. And that is how Cilla Steele became the winner of the 68th Hunger Games, by love. She had promised him one night during training that if only one of them made it out the other would still talk about them- tell others they were one there too, making sure no one ever forgot them.

Marjorie Baird was a sight to behold, most compared her to a butterfly, starting out as a small caterpillar outside the district to flying around it aweing others with her beauty. It wasn't surprising to others that when her cousins name was called she volunteered to take her place. What had surprised them was that she won.

All of this comes burning down after 58 years of waiting for the match to be thrown. A revolution unveils lies from years ago and uncovers truths never told.

Every year they are dragged out to the Capitol to mentor tributes who die within the next week. It was now the 75th Hunger Games and the tributes were being chosen from the existing pools of victors. And when Annie was chosen to go back into the arena, Sidney had to volunteer for her.

At this moment my heart should be pounding and my palms should be sweaty, but they're not. I simply want to know whose name she holds in her hands."Rue Olgilby!" She reads in a clear voice that rings out with finality.Five seconds, I command myself; you get five seconds to digest this.One... I'm going to the Hunger Games.Two... I'm so glad I wrote those notes.Three... What is my family going to do?Four... How do I tell them goodbye?Five... Take a deep breath, and just get on the stage. My thoughts don't show a resounding sense of fear. The only thing I feel is carefully balanced acceptance-at my impending death-and fight-to show everyone that, though I'm only twelve, I can still stay alive-until someone kills me. ©®™✓
