The adopted son of Sally Jackson turns out to be a half-blood too, he must go to camp half-blood with her oldest son, Percy. While at camp Percy gets accused of stealing Zeus' lightning bolt. Percy, Annabeth, Jason, and their satyr friend Grover have to prove the gods wrong and find and return Zeus master bolt before time runs out.
