It was all propaganda

This story is written in the perspective of our main character Ember, who tell the story and explains that she is a mutant, meaning she has an odd abilities like telekinesis that she shares with her twin brother Milo. She goes on to explain how she and her brother grew up hiding their ability to not get killed and joining the military to hide the fact that they were mutants, joining the military branch that specifically hunts down their kind. She explains how she and her brother changed this point of view and changed the world's perspective about mutants and people like her.
