 The Avengers' mage, Prism, spent years posing as a beta and using her magic to nullify her pheromones. She feels a duty to help as many people for as long as she can and knows the Avengers having an Omega on their team would be a huge scandal and she'd probably be forced to quit.

The consequences of her years of doing whatever she needed to in order to  keep her secret are adding up, and it's getting time to pay the piper and come clean-with everyone.
