C'est l'histoire de Oralie et de Kenric tous deux conseillers. Malheureusement Kenric décède lors de sa rencontre avec Fintan Pyren, quand celui-ci déclenche le Grand Brasier et détruit Éternalia. Son sacrifice permet tout de même à Sophie Foster, à la Conseillère Oralie, à Tiergan ainsi qu'à Fitz Vacker de s'en sortir vivants. En effet, en se jetant sur Fintan, à Oblivimyre, il réussit à faire gagner du temps aux autres elfes présents dans la tour, ce qui leur permet de fuir.
!! Pour ne pas vous spoiler ayez lu jusqu'au tome 8 parce qu'au début il y a une "révélation" à propos d'Oralie et elle le dit à la fin du tome 8. Bon après vous pouvez quand même lire la fanfic mais au risque de vous faire spoiler !!
