Poppy Stevens, the youngest of the Stevens family, flew the nest and her over protective family as soon as she could. She has traveled the world and lived independently since she was 18. Now, she's ready to return to her roots, and an extended stay in Scotland, where he mother's family is from, seems the best way to discover her heritage. Poppy decides that the shadow of castle Alfheimr, which was her great grandfather's birthright and was long ago lost, is the best place to start her journey. However, the new laird in residence, Isaac Harrison, distrusts her and makes her visit an uphill battle. Isaac, a former Army man whose career is in search and rescue, prides himself on his toughness. However, he is unsettled by the small redheaded ray of light that enters his life and upsets the delicate balance of his newly formed life. He knows he is rude and distant toward her, but he senses the power she has to change his life yet again. When an unexpected turn of events threatens to rip Issac's new life apart, will an alliance with Poppy be the best way to save it?

In the modern kingdom of Northaven, tradition and progress often clash, and no one feels this tension more than Brayden, the spirited grandson of the King. After the sudden death of his father, the heir to the throne, Brayden finds himself thrust into the spotlight as the next in line. Grappling with grief and the weight of expectation, Brayden must navigate a world that demands perfection from its future king while hiding his own truth-he is gay in a monarchy that has never openly embraced change. Haunted by heartbreak from a past relationship that shattered his trust, Brayden embarks on a royal tour of Northaven, hoping to reconnect with the people and find his own sense of purpose. His journey leads him to Aldenford, a quaint seaside village where he meets Elias, a talented craftsman with a steady hand and a heart full of quiet strength. Through chance encounters, late-night texts, and shared stories, the two forge an unexpected connection that challenges Brayden's guarded world. But life as a royal is never simple. As Brayden and Elias grow closer, their bond faces intense scrutiny from a kingdom steeped in tradition. Brayden must confront not only his duty to the crown but also the deeply rooted prejudice that threatens to overshadow his happiness. With the added pressure of his father's legacy and the challenges of being a gay royal in the modern age, Brayden is torn between the man he longs to be and the future his family expects of him. Set against a backdrop of royal pageantry, quiet seaside towns, and a society grappling with progress, A Crown and a Lighthouse is a poignant tale of love, loss, and resilience. It is a story about finding courage in the face of adversity, honoring one's own truth, and learning to shine even when the world wants you to dim your light. Will Brayden choose the crown and the expectations of his lineage, or will he follow the guiding light of love and chart his own path?
