Her escape had been impulsive, fueled by the desperation harbored only by those who were fighting for their lives. She does not make it very far before crashing into an Illyrian general who, to her dismay, pulls her into his world. Surrounded by new faces, a new city, and a new sense of uncertainty about her future, Cirsei feels she has traded one prison for another. She will come to learn that this could not be further from the truth - but this lesson is not without its growing pains.
