Weatherfall has fled Snowclan after killing his sister, hoping to seek shelter in Waterclan. While the deputy, Owlstripe, vouches for him because he saved her kits, Froststar isn't so sure. Weatherfall must prove himself if he's going to be accepted into a new Clan, but he must also dig deep inside himself and reflect on the choices that led him to Waterclan in the first place.
Meanwhile, back in Snowclan, both Stormsplash and Briarpaw are grieving after losing their respective sisters. Stormsplash searches for answers to Rockflight's death, knowing that something's not adding up. When Briarpaw finds out that Weatherfall might still be alive, he'll stop at nothing to find him, hoping to spare even more heartbreak. But with a sickness spreading through the camp and a battle brewing between Waterclan and Snowclan, the cats must find a way to control their grief before it destroys them, and before their Clans are destroyed by the illness and war.

2023 EDIT: This was my first proper book on here, and is quite cringy and badly-written, so please don't judge all too much! ^^' ~ Now, many generations after the lake-side Clans, AirClan, LeafClan, SunClan, NightClan and LakeClan are thriving in their new territories. Blossompaw is the apprentice to Crystalwing, the medicine cat of AirClan, but even with such an important role, she always feels ignored. Everyone swoons over her, sympathising with her, caring for her, when all she wants is for cats not to do that, to listen. However, when StarClan tell her of this evil, she may get the chance to prove herself to everyone. Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging.
