Elizabeth Fox, met nine-year-old, Nolan Wallace when she was only seven and the two quickly became inseparable. They stayed friends all through elementary and middle school but then came high school and hormones and everything changed. Feelings developed and they began to date despite her strict religious parents being against it. Nolan had been troubled growing up with an alcoholic abusive mom who was gone more than she was home and a list of petty crimes and a tarty sheet taking up ten pages before high school. Ellie is raised as a good Christian girl who goes to school, does her homework, goes to church, volunteers, and stays out of trouble. The only trouble she's ever run into was while at Nolan's side, including when she visits him at college. Despite her promises to wait and years of absence training, Ellie finds herself under Nolan. One positive pregnancy test later, Nolan is on the run and Ellie finds herself homeless at his sister's mercy and desperate for help. Now 20-year-old Elizabeth Grace Fox must come face to face with her childhood best friend, ex-boyfriend, and baby daddy after almost three years of silence. Will they try again or will it just be another reminder of everything she wanted?
