We all know the stories of the underdog. They've risen to the top and claimed their spot at #1. Their up-bringing is usually not very enthusiastic and until this inspiring story that has developed overtime is spoken, they are a nobody.
It's a classic tale that everybody should know and it's a trope that will never be forgotten. However, what exactly happens when these underdogs do claim their place in their talents? Are they really an underdog anymore? Do they keep these same values that have been stuck with them their whole lives? The better question is what will these underdogs do to keep their place at the top and does that determine whether they are the hero anymore or if they are the villain?

Ace Lenore has always been very quiet, subtle in his actions in high school. In fact, he's been so silent in what he does, that practically nobody predicted that he would graduate as a sophomore. The only person that saw his potential (besides of course his grandparents), was his childhood best friend Peach. She was a lot more outgoing, you could say. More entitled in her ways, loud, and most likely the only reason why anybody could remember the name "Ace". However, Ace never really minded her behavior, simply sweeping it under the rug as a normal occurrence to his everyday life.
It's a bond that simply can't be broken.
It's a strange occurrence that happens to almost every iconic pair when it comes to opposites.
You could even say their relationship is the reason why Ace one day stood in front of those headlights with millions of people watching him.
The underdog.
The ground underneath his feet and the applause echoing in his ears.
"God how did I even get here?"
