Pirates from all around the world would come to try steal its riches. But the chest held a curse. "If a pirate takes this chest and steals its riches, may a curse be set on them and the whole world." Unwanted protection
Everyone knows the Star Sanses: they're the Guardians of the Multiverse, and protect it from Nightmare and his minions, who only want to spread chaos and destruction. They're kind, strong, brave, the good guys! How can you not love them? You can't. They deserve the world. They're perfect and selfless and precious, and must be protected at any (and I do mean ANY) cost. Not that they couldn't protect themselves, of course! It's just, the Multiverse doesn't give them the appreciation and respect they deserve, not really. But Nightmare, Error, Horror, Killer, Dust, Cross... they know how much Dream, Ink and Blue are worth. And they'll keep them safe. Forever. Killer is a sans, and so is the rest of his crew. They call themselves "The Bad Sanses." They've all had one goal at some point in time, revenge. However, Killer is a unique specimen. He is an emotionless being. He feels nothing and nothing only. No remorse. No happiness. No mercy. All he knows is "kill," and that's how it's been for long time. However, one day he comes across a new particular type of Sans. A very colorful one. He feels something he hasn't felt for years. Freedom. Once Nightmare finds out, it's not pretty. Killer was his most loyal worker. So he decided he had to end this "friendship." The question Killer asks is, why? "Why do you need me to feel nothing? Why do you want me to be a part of your crew? You always tell me how useless I am. If I'm so useless, why do you need me?" Nightmare couldn't give him an answer.
