This was originally a big Sonic X Re:Zero fanfic idea, adding other ideas here that I felt were worth keeping. Ideas originally posted to Reddit by me(will update every so often), spoilers for stuff beyond S2 will be here, but after a warning that can be missed. I encourage people to use any and all of these ideas. Original description below:

This is my idea for a Re:Zero X Sonic the Hedgehog fic without any reincarnation or overpowered Subaru, just have him be a random civilian from the world of Sonic the Hedgehog, idea originally made for reddit. It is mostly a relatively detailed order of Sonic events from a random civilian's perspective after a bunch of tidbits about Sonic's world. I sprinkled in some ideas in here that include some spoilers up to the end of S2(Arc 4) of the Re:Zero anime without spoiler warnings, but try to put a warning right before anything that goes beyond what the anime covers(Arc 5+). I encourage you to use any ideas here for any fic you may have, including ones that aren't Re:Zero related, I have no plans to write this fic as of now. Spoilers to basically every piece of cannon Sonic media.

I do not own Re: zero that is owned by Tappei Nagatsuki. I started writing this after the other fanfic. heard of one loop in the Re: Zero series that Tappei Nagatsuki said Subaru attributed it as reality closest to hell. If you haven't already guessed from the cover, this story takes place in episode 11 season 2 the episode where Emilia goes insane. I immediately wanted to throw my character into it to see if he would survive this hell. I was kinda embarrassed writing it at first. But I put a lot of effort and emotion into it. I remember one time while I was writing I had eaten nothing that entire day, was coming down from a pretty high Adderall dose, and was withdrawing due to forgetting to take certain medications. The characters were in a similar situation, thus adding realism to the story. Also, I was able to channel my emotion onto my writing. The result was a very authentic very hard to recreate product. Thus I cannot let it go to waste. Also, the parts are either going to be very long or short. Also, some of this rides off of my other fanfic so read that one too. Enjoy

Y/N: WHY?!, It was all good I got my isekai cheat skill and I got to design how I look like in the end all I had to do was spin for which world I can get Isekai's but out of all the world it had to be . . . . . A re:zero male reader insert To begin with, no you are not an edgy prick like Sauske, nor are you an uchiha. You just get the power mysteriously. Subaru is still in this story, and he's also your best friend, and you also get transported with him, so yeah. And do not worry about the mangekyou problem, cause I can SEE my way around that. (Ok now you can kill me) I do not own Re:zero-Starting Life In Another World From Zero, and if I did I would give Subaru a break from the suffering.
