In a neon-lit cyberpunk city, Mono-Topia, Kokichi Oma is known as a brilliant, aspiring inventor who creates cutting-edge technology to survive in the harsh urban landscape,with his cherish friend, Miu Iruma. As an Inventor, he constantly seeks to push the boundaries of what's possible, though he does odd jobs for the populace for now. He struggles with his past hardships, which have rotted his heart and mind alike. He finds temporary distractions through activites that are looked down apon.

Shuichi Saihara, a troubled yet intelligent kid, studying to be an inventor. He finds himself cornered and beaten by a ruthless gang out of nowhere, though it may or may not have been his fault they came after him. Though sweet, his situation and problems affect his personality, making him hostile and unapproachable at times, ending in such dangerous situations. He longs for a safe place of peace and calm.

One fateful day, Kokichi just so happened to save Shuichi from the ruthless gang and from that day on, Shuichi couldn't help but link a place of solace to the young man who saved him. This was the beginning of a love story, halted by doubts, problems, traumas and misunderstandings.

‼️All art used in this story will have credits to it's origins- i.e. where I found it Pregame universe; Shuichi Saihara is an upstanding kid with a defensive aura, he's well liked and keeps okay grades. He's usually well dressed and wears a hat 24/7, his silky blue-ish black hair hidden beneath it. He has a few admirers and is definitely more popular than Kokichi; A kid who keeps to himself. He has good grades because Atua forbid his parents find out he brought home anything less than an A, not that they'd be home much to see it. This is shown in his outward appearance, including slightly messy hair, usually a bandaid or two somewhere on his body to cover up a bruise or a gash made by unfriendly hands, and the traditional 2nd year school uniform as opposed to the 3rd, like Shuichi. Shuichi has a best friend named Rantaro Amami, a self-fulfilled prophecy of sorts. His dad was an unsightly character, beating on his mom constantly before being locked in jail. Rantaro is overly protective, inquisitive, and very.. Observant? He seems like an average kid to others, but if you get caught in one of his "stares"- Well.. You're not getting away from it. His light lime green hair is fluffy and well kept, and he wears a 3rd year uniform like his peers. He also has quite a few piercings- Most of which Shuichi was around for. Join these three as they battle with their emotions, questioning themselves every step of the way. Will they have a happy ending, Kokichi and Shuichi becoming Star-Crossed Lovers? As a result of the protective and overbearing nature of the principal, Kokichi's heavily encouraged by his classmates to keep his distance from Shuichi. Of course, that's not nearly enough to deter him from his goal of getting to know the boy. After all, what kind of father dictates who his son can and can't hangout with? Something in his gut was telling him that Shuichi Saihara would be worth all of the consequences he'd face; that there was more to him than just being the principals son. He would certainly be correct about that.
