WHEN I WAS A SOLDIER

A man who has seen the horrors of war and survived against all odds returns home to the City of Hope. As he tries to rebuild his life, he begins to write a diary as a way to process his experiences and heal from the scars of war. In his diary, he reflects on the people he has loved and lost, the battles he has fought, and the lessons he has learned about life, love, and what it means to be a man. Along the way, he finds hope and redemption, and begins to rebuild a life he can be proud of.
