When fighting a demon one day, Tanjiro loses his hanafuda earrings, which were given to him by his late father. He only realised this once he arrived at the butterfly mansion after the mission. Distraught, Tanjiro goes searching for them. However, he left his sister, Nezuko, and his brothe- I mean the Water Hashira, Giyuu Tomioka worried about him and unaware of his whereabouts.
