I fear disappointing people. The woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. There are times where I forget what it means to be human, and delve so deep into an unforgiving feeling, that it destroys everything I love. I only have myself to blame.

"Did Jake tell you where he was going?" The police officer asked. "He went out back to play." I told him. "Do you remember what time that was?" Another officer spoke that time. I thought back to when Jake had tried to entice me to play ninjas with him that night. "Just after dinner. I don't know what time that was." Where was my brother? "Was he acting normally?" That question had my stomach in knots. "Yes sir."
