Terrus, a young man attending college for a history degree, lives a fairly normal life until one night, he is visited by a strange man in his dreams. The man asks Terrus what the most important thing is to Terrus, to which Terrus replies with "time." After that night, Terrus has been subjected to horrors beyond the means of his world. Things that could very well drive him mad. He clings to sanity while trying to finish college, but as he goes on, he realizes there is further trouble brewing just beyond what he can see.
