In a post-World War V world, global divisions have given rise to factions vying for resources and power. Amidst this tumultuous landscape, Kaya finds herself on the fringes of society through no fault of her own- branded an outcast due to her mother's status as an asylum seeker from an adversarial faction, Kaya grapples with the challenges of navigating a society driven by conflict, harnessing her unique powers, and simply trying to lead a normal life.

Her journey takes an unexpected turn when Ronan, her former bully, returns from military training as a new member of her social circle (triangle? It's small). Unsure whether to trust his intentions, Kaya avoids him to the best of her ability, but after unforeseen circumstances force them together, she can no longer ignore him.

A young woman, her past shrouded in shadows, teeters on the brink of oblivion, by her own hand. Captivating but challenging, she draws others in with an irresistible pull. Unafraid to unleash her sharp tongue like a deadly blade or use her claws, honed to perfection. She emanates a chilling aura that could freeze one's very soul, her eyes infused with the cunning of a fox. Though she has many twisted secrets and desires, she can not face them alone, in order to rise from the ashes, she must let go of any inhibitions, give herself completely to the temptations, and accept what fate has bestowed upon her. Especially if fate is wrapped up in such a sinful devastatingly gorgeous package. He is a wealthy surgeon concealing a darkness beneath his unearthly beauty. He exudes both rugged strength and gentle kindness, yet what he hides behind that meticulously constructed mask, is the inner demon, a beast that has an insatiable lust for desire and pleasure, and to claim what he perceives to belong to him. He is a downright psychopath underneath his carefully curated facade of caring protector. His protection is obsessive in its truest form, and he must embrace it no matter the cost. It's as if she had been plucked from the depths of hell to test him, unraveling the intricately woven veil he uses to shield himself. And perhaps he is exactly what she needs to bury her tumultuous past, and step in to her own era of psychotic dark goddess energy, even if only for a fleeting moment. Both carry unsettling truths within them and as they are thrust together in unavoidable proximity amidst spicy themes of seduction, their facades will begin to crumble. The outcome hangs precariously between mutual destruction or obliterating anyone who dares come between their enigmatic bond.
