He could see the disbelief on my face, crimson eyes reflecting a cruel light, just as cruel as the smirk that rested on his lips. The man drew closer until he was inches away from my face. I wanted to pull away but my body was stuck in place, the pull to stay with my mate too much.

He grabbed my face and lifted it until I was eye level with him. The air of confidence surrounding him made me shiver, despite my own dominant lineage. His grin only grew as he stared into my eyes.

"My my. You've fell right into my trap, little rabbit. Will you struggle, or will you submit to me completely? Choose wisely."
