The year was 2157 when Earth crumbled and governments fell. Most living things died and their was a silence on earth that was deafening. The first particles of disease fell in North America in the Spring of 2157 and began to scatter and mutate into virus and bacteria. Bombs sailed through cities leveling Government buildings, business and residential. Historians call this period Decay. Ricin poisoning and nerve gases were released. Citizens began to fall ill and die quickly. Later historians found out that a few middle east countries, China and Russia poisoned all food with Ricin. The food was then shipped to US, Canada, UK, many European countries. This period is only known as "Decay' Some humans survived. Either from paranoia or luck, so the stories go. The paranoid ones were waiting for the first signs of a fallout and when it began they hid in their underground 'storage containers'. These were completely sealed once someone closed the door. The doors were automated and within 2 to 5 years depending on the setting chosen the doors would automatically open. The history of the 'lucky ones' is that they knew someone who had a container and welcomed them, or they hid in the container until the family that owned it got in and sealed the door. And hope they would not be killed for trespassing. Now it is 2243. The world has drastically changed. In this world the 'Owners' and 'Potentials' rule the 'communities'. Guards police, keeping communities separated. The Powers rule over what was once called North America now simply called East Nation North (ENN). Superiors handle their community they are assigned to. Under the Powers, Superiors, Water Protectors, Guards, owners and potentials come the animal breeders next on the hierarchy. Then the last three levels don't really matter to anyone. Those are the baby breeders, slaves and throwaways. They have no say in anything.

Will this be the fairy tale ending Sofia has been longing for or just another frog she has to kiss until she finds her prince?

At the time of our tale, Joao II has decided to strike against the wealthiest and most influential dynasty in Portugal, the House of Braganza. Duke Ferdinand II de Braganza was an influential advocate of new liberal ideals growing in Portugal and dreamt of building a new parliamentary democracy based on the Portuguese Cortes. When Joao II makes his move, de Braganza has no choice but to organize a rebellion and strike back. In this alternative historical fiction, the worlds of medieval Europe and Aztec civilization meet and clash, illuminating many questions for all ages.

However, the metal workers, glass blowers, carpenters, leather workers, rope makers, weavers, potters and farmers developed more efficient horse drawn plows, improved crop yields, build better boats and the first engineers designed water wheels to irrigate crops, grind seeds and saw wood. They invented wooden barrels, wagon wheels and windmills as the Chinese invented paper and printing. Meanwhile, the Indians revolutionized mathematics and Moslems discovered chemistry. WHO THE HELL ARE WE? is a series of short books and videos describing the evolution of civilization. Almost everyone on the planet is five times wealthier than their ancestors only 50 years ago. This astonishing phenomenon has also improved health, education, and longevity. The cause; an explosive growth in ideas and productivity. It began when we learned to control fire, evolved articulate speech and stumbled onto the way to create infinite wealth; free trade. The discovery of agriculture made us richer but we also learned how to destroy wealth. Great civilization grew up but then disappeared leaving only incredible ruins and ideas.
