Helena is the last of her kind, born to an immortal race of beings. Her Ilk was conceived from the Harmonious Union of the first god and goddess, Mother Void and Father Life.
Born from Chaos, the Harmonious could consume the flesh of gods. Painted as shape-shifting monsters of both creation and destruction, the Harmonious were said to have wrought destruction through all Realms of Reality. Fearing all of creation's destruction, the youngest twelve gods and goddesses betrayed the Mother and Father. In an act that spilled blood from the stars, every last child of the Harmonious Union was slaughtered.
Her spirit now captured and enslaved by the White Pantheon, Helena knows existence only by what it lacks.
Starving, exhausted, and formless; Helena is devoid of life. The gods ignore her prayers; Mother is silent to her begging.
Centuries pass in torment until the appearance of a mysterious and powerful deity rips her away from formless darkness. The being claims the title Lord of the Black, and though he appears as a man, it soon becomes clear he is no servant of the Twelve.
As time progresses, the undeniable pull of attraction and fate continues to lure Helena toward Lord Black. Even though they can't seem to go five minutes without fighting, affection begins to bloom inside Helena's rugged and broken soul.
Peace is elusive, however, as the past quickly begins to unravel its twisted roots. An old enemy rears his many heads, threatening the delicate threads of life Helena has just begun to weave.
Lies, religious corruption, and the truth about Lord Black's origins begin to dig twisted vines into the blossoming love between them. The struggle of overcoming her nature threatens to undo all that Helena has been gifted.
