What was supposed to be a simple move across Cybertron becomes much more to Optimus when their caravan is attacked, his Bonded killed, and him and his son kidnapped by one of the barbaric nomads responsible for the assault. Thus started the tale of how a young mech of the Primes lineage became the mate of a nomad of the Wastelands, for the better and for the worse.
