Fallen Together

After death, there is Heaven and there is Hell. Though those are the only options for human souls, after an animal on Earth passes away, their bones are taken and reworked together to make grim reapers, a third party away from Angels of Heaven and Demons or Imps in Hell.
Reapers are the ferrymen of the afterlife, taking the souls of the dead to heaven or hell with an understanding that they have no say in the soul's placement.

Azeria, a reaper with more bones from a fox, had been working under Grim in purgatory for a solid century after her bones were found around a long-forgotten paw trap. Had been pieced back together with other bones, to make a new reaper and Guardian Angel.

Though, during one of her latest assignments, Azeria delivered an important soul to the king of Hell himself, instantly there was a spark in her chest, a flame that over took her body. From there, Azeria began to question the placement of some souls, her reactions giving away far to much of her newfound Life.
