A school assignment for Halloween (there were multiple short ones but this was the final main one). Written around 2018. It has been revised. (One of my proud works I guess, at least at the time).

It's any ordinary night. Suddenly Daniel, or the narrator, finds himself ... long story short ... in the middle of an alien invasion. Can he survive? What do the aliens even want?
