Jasmin Hachi has the worst luck ever. Her mother died when she was fourteen, four years ago. She's eighteen now. Her father is abusive, and she has many scars from where he beats her. To top it all off, racist kids from school pick on her because she is part Japanese.

But when a cat starts to follow her around, she starts to feel weird. She gains extra senses like being able to see in the dark better and being able to jump higher and run faster.

Jasmin finally runs away, with the aid of the cat, when her father actually tries to kill her! She finds out her father murdered her mother, and she swears vengeance.

The cat leads her into the sewers, and she finds out she's a Neko! What's more, the cat is also a Neko and his name is Jason Kikoro. He is also her mate!

The two battle through many challenges to fight her father and end his reign, but they must not be seen by the humans!
