“Who are you? Get away from me!” I screamed at the figure looming over me. “What do you want from me? My parents have money, please! Please just g-get away from me...”
“Harr-“ She began
“H-how do you know m-my name?” I stammered, failing to muster up the courage to yell.
“Harry, I am not here to hurt you, my name is Lily. I’ll see you soon.” I hung on to every word she told me. But with that, she was gone; She simply slipped through the wall on the opposite side of the room.
I had tried to tell my parents, but they simply waved it off as a bad dream. I hadn’t slept at all that night, and when she appeared at the foot of my bed the next morning I didn’t know what to do. I had tried to stay calm, but she knew I was afraid.
“Harry, are you okay?” She asked. Her voice was so sweet, so comforting, yet her pain could be heard in her every word. She had pale blonde, almost white hair that fell in soft waves to her waist. She was not completely solid, and I couldn’t see through her, but she was translucent enough for me to know that she wasn’t really there. She lacked colour; her clothes a simple white dress, her skin fair. Her eyes, however, were a deep blue, perhaps even purple- they were mesmerizing.
“Harry?”
“What? Yea – um, I’m fine. It’s just, um, you’re a, um –“
“You don’t need to know. I’m here for you”
That was the day I met Lily. Lily got me through the thick and thin, she would pick me up when I was down , and she kept me grounded throughout the xfactor.
I can’t live without lily, the ghost, the vision;
I can’t live without Lily, my best friend. I was only 10, and she was too; But no one ever knew about her, and hopefully no one ever will.
