When Kya's father was killed in a fire nation attack in Ba Sing Se, she was left to fend for herself in the huge city. She was determined to get revenge for what the fire nation did to her family. Living in the poorer area of Ba Sing Se, she had to steal to get any food. All she had was herself, and her best friend Yuki, who was an earthbender. But when an oppourtunity to leave her home and get revenge on the people who killed her father is given, she is given a choice. Face the world, or be stuck with the guilt of her father's death forever.
    
    This is a fanfiction based on the 2003-2007 series, Avatar the Last Airbender. This takes place before  the Avatar returns near the end of the century war.
