After her team fell to pieces, Soph ran. The only reason she had survived so long was because she loved zombie apocalypses, and she was prepared when the monsters came to her front door. Her team had consisted of her now ex girlfriend Hanna and a guy called Newt. Somehow, they had managed not to get eaten by the undead. But when Newt dies, everything goes to hell.

Kaz is a bitter girl, who was surviving on luck and skills...a LOT of luck. Soph and her mates had saved Kaz after she got shot, but she left as soon as she could, without a single glance back. But after Soph and Kaz's paths cross again due to some stupid decisions, she's unable to continue being the lone wolf.

Will the two girls set their past aside and find a way to get along? Or will they defeated by the undead?
