When the sheriff of Port Arthur, Texas, dies, it is up to his grandson Adonis and his friends to solve one of the towns biggest cases to date. However, everyone holds their own secrets and the ones the friends hold could be the make or break between solving the case and keeping friendships alive. 

(This was a project for my English class, I am submitting one chapter there before I submit anything much here but I will give you guys a sneak peek. Sorry, I do not want to be blamed for plagiarism and then fail my English class so I am going to give you guys a sample of what I have already submitted. A look into the main character if you will. And the love between Richard and Vanessa starts to break as this occurred. secrets began to unfold and sorrow began to overcome them. now the question is, Who is behind all of this? what will happen to the couple? 'loving you was the biggest mistake I made, but the sad part is I don't regret it' *Please note that this is one of the few works I made and one I am very satisfied with. it is a short story as it contains very less chapters. this was actually made for my literature assignment but I took some effort to make it a story. so actual credits go to my literature teacher, thank you ms.Nithali for the inspiration. "First, you grabbed the blanket and ripped it right off of me." I blinked at him, a horrified expression on my face. I slapped his hand away from my hair and turned around. Yup, there it was. Lying on the floor, along with my dignity. He continued solemnly. "And then, you climbed up on top of me." Could you die from your face overheating? I waited for my embarrassment to be complete as he tapped his chin, thoughtfully. "Yeah, that's about it." That's it? THAT'S IT? So I hadn't completely thrown myself at him. Just a tad. And the prize for the unluckiest luckiest horndog of the year goes to Lauren Can't Keep Her Hands To Herself Jules. I grabbed the pillow and smacked him over the head with it. Hard.
