It's been over two years since the ghouls of Aogiri Tree Reservation, Air Force, Tokyo Security Committee, and all of the groups from Minnesota defeated the Takers in that cruel place called the Sawyer of Wisconsin. They saved lives of ghoul citizens who were abducted and controlled by Takers. Viola kept going to therapy and physical recovery, received justice for her girlfriend Claire, and found peace in herself. The Juuzou squad will always show their family respects for Claire's memorial every year. Viola and Dragon are happily engaged on the reservation. Moira and Kaye just got married on June during pride month. Ezra received his promotion as the Master of the Cyber Team. Mother Vanna became the leader of the Wiccans and Celtics to help with spiritual healing for the survivors who were rescued from the Sawyer. Seika and Hercules just had a child together. The Hollow Guard fell apart very bad because Sigfreed disappeared and never came back. They decide to never bring his name again. Benji, Sexy Bae, and Jiggalo became the new three leaders of the Hollow Guard and rebuild the island with care together. King Kaneki and Queen Touka always agreed to set laws that all ghoul rights are protected.
The dictator of the Sawyer name Pandy Hakujin captured and sentenced to life in maximum prison for bad humans who caused harm to ghouls. List of the Takers who were associated with the Hakujin's names of Chuck Mercury, Ambrosa Mercury, Tonia, and Tim Coward sentenced to life in prison. Panora detained in the psychiatric state hospital for long term. The King and Queen agreed the state boarders between Minnesota and Wisconsin need to be restricted for the safety of their citizens. The Sawyer permanently closed down.

One day, a kind ghoul saw a human child walking around in the 13th Ward looking for a place to stay. The ghoul, of course, wouldn't want to let her die. So he, being the kind ghoul he is, took her in. Unfortunately, the CCG (who appears to be hunting the ghoul) found their whereabouts and prisoned them in the Cochlea. Every day, the ghoul would be tortured so that he would spill information about his association. The ghoul was loyal to his association, so he kept quiet. One day, the CCG couldn't take it anymore and so they did an experiment on the human child. When they told (more like showed) about what happened to the human child, the ghoul lost control of his sanity and killed all the investigators who were keeping him and the child prisoners. When he regained sanity, he took the child to a safe place and left her in the hands of human loving ghouls. That child was soon known as Phoenix. Two years has passed after the Owl Suppression Operation. Special Class Investigator Amon Kotarou and Rank 2 Investigator Takizawa Seidou were claimed dead, but their bodies were not found. Nagachika Hideyoshi-a student at Kamii University-was claimed missing and has not been found. Kirishima Touka managed a new coffee shop called :re with Yomo Renji.
