Battle Ground Oasis

From the perspective of Sloane, a sixteen year old girl, her relaxing vacation on a island becomes turbulent when she finds out she's stranded out in the wild beauty of the overgrown sea jungle with no way back home. Fighting to keep the locals and her family off her back, she encounters a boy named Sebastian, who might be able to help her. With Sebastian's wealthy parents gone from weeks to months periodically, all the two can do is bide their time and wait it out until Sebastian is able to contact his mother and father again. As the days turn from hopeful to dreaded, Sloane has little expectation for Sebastian's parents to pull through. That's when she learns the real reason she'd been stranded there all along, and how a harmless get away could turn into a full blown disaster within a blink of an eye.
