A century has passed, Mirkwood falls further into darkness as an old enemy returns.Tauriel and Legolas have grown apart and the feelings they held for each other are now dead, along with their friendship. Due to a fatal battle wound Tauriel's abilities faded leaving no remains. Only when coming face to face with a company on a journey to reclaim a homeland, a trigger is set off. Not long after she discovers just how important she has become to the dwarves and reclaiming their homeland, even if they do not know it.
However because of this a decision must be made....
Will she sacrifice her life to save Middle Earth and the ones she loves?
