When the second War to End All Wars starts, Elise and her siblings are sent away to an old professor's mansion, where they find a wardrobe. Lucy, the youngest, claims to have found a magical land filled with all sorts of creatures inside of it. Elise wants to believe her, so she does, and when an unfortunate accident forces the Pevensie siblings to hide in the wardrobe, they find that Narnia is indeed real, but it's not as grand and beautiful as they thought. The fate of this other world lies in the hands of Elise and her siblings, but will they be able to pull through?

She was the kind of person
Who would find magic on the ground,
As though the secret to real joy
Was something left lying around.
She'd pull it out of library books,
Their pages ripped and worn,
And swore that she could see it
In the air before a storm.
If you're wary of believing
Know I'm no stranger to distrust,
Back then all I found in library books
Was the smell of moths and dust.
And despite her every promise
That each storm holds something gold,
I would wait outside for hours
And all I caught was colds.
Until she told me through her laughter
That believing is the key,
You cannot change the way the world looks
Until you change the way you see.

"Lost and cold. Tired and lonely I reached out. I waved my arms and screamed for help. Desperately trying to speak. But nobody saw, nobody heard. Insecure and scared I hid myself away. Tried to silently- telepathically ask for guidance. But nobody spared a second glance. Unloved and lonely I let go. I gave up. Not wanting to live in a world where love could not find a place in my life. I never knew how wrong I was. Never knew that he was always there and had been from the start. I thought of myself as the girl lost in time. The one who didn't belong. I was not worth the first life I was given and lost in the next. I was screaming, craving, searching for something I knew nothing of. until he found me. He, who saved me from myself. My dear King." The year was 1940. with young men going into war, and women starting jobs, the children who lived in the cities, more specifically London were sent to live out in the country. when the Pevensie children arrive at the estate, they meet the 18-year-old maid, Anna. or Anna-Maria. a girl with a shadowed past, but a heart of gold. She has lived with the professor for 8 years and worked as a maid there for 4. The siblings take to her immediately, glad to have someone to hold onto in this time of difficulty. None of them could have predicted what a simple game of hiding and seek would lead to. What destiny was laid out before them. Least of all the girl whom lived twice. The one who lived inside her own head. lost in a sea of confusion, and longing for something deeper. The Queen waiting for her King.

♕ Ranked #1 Book in Narnia, #1 Book in Aslan, and #2 Book in Edmund ♕ "What?" Elizabeth exclaimed to Aslan. "I cannot possibly be the one the prophecy is talking about! Certainly I am not fit to rule. Why I'm only fourteen-years-old!" "And the innocence of a child allows them to remain pure and leaves no judgment in their eyes. Elizabeth you were born to be a Queen, you just don't know it yet." ∞ ♕ ∞ Before the famous Pevensie siblings were even born, there was another family already in Narnia. The Kirke siblings, two boys, and two girls, eventually discovered the world of Narnia themselves after the youngest sibling fell into the icy wonderland. The White Witch, believing the Kirke siblings to be the ones told in the Prophecy which stated that she would someday be overthrown by two Sons of Adam and two Daughters of Eve, killed the two older Kirke siblings while the younger ones managed to escape. Elizabeth, the youngest of the four, was accidentally left behind in Narnia by her brother Digory II. Now hunted by the Witch, Elizabeth is on the run when Aslan, a lion who is the king and god of Narnia, intercepted the girl. Living in this country for almost 60 years, Aslan taught Elizabeth how to survive and practically raised her as his own, and gave the girl the gift of magic like that of the Witch. Digory Kirke II, now a retired professor living in 1941 England, agrees to house children during the World War II bombings of London. Soon after, four English siblings to be sent to the old country mansion with Digory II where they will be safe. One day, the youngest Pevensie sibling Lucy finds a wardrobe that transports her to Narnia just like the Kirke siblings forty years before her. What will happen when the Pevensies join the magical lion, Aslan, and the long-lost Kirke sibling, Elizabeth, where the unavoidable fight against the evil White Witch, Jadis, lingers in this mystical land? ** Cover by @ZellasDays **
