Eighteen-year-old Lulu Richardson is a homeless acrobat living in New York. She ran away from her small town and abusive parents when she was ten, and a traditional circus found her and raised her.

Zayn Malik comes out to an alley way for a smoke after a concert, and runs into Lulu. They immediately hit it off, and they keep running into each other. They start falling for each other, but someone from Lulu's past comes back. And he wants revenge.
