Johnshi's AU

Being a famous artist is not easy, especially when your insurance is always at risk. And the actor and director Johnnatan Carlton better known as Johnny Cage, after being successful with his last project called "Mortal Kombat", his hitherto amateur acting career took off. However, with fame comes consequences, and a dangerous stalker seems to be a great threat to him.  With the help of his assistant, the solution chosen was to find a guard who would watch him 24 hours a day to maintain his safety, and no one better than Kenshi Takahashi, a serious, formal and exemplary man, being good not only at protecting but also a great martial artist, the perfect person to protect him.

However, for this to be possible they will have to share the mansion. Will Cage be able to handle anyone else living in his home after his recent divorce? And Kenshi, how can you dedicate so much time in your day to your work? Why is he always so mysterious about his past?

Inspired by the film Bodyguard.

My intention in writing this fic is to see if the public will like it, as I intend to develop an original story from this one.All Rights Reserved

The idea is to showcase the world of hard core martial arts and integrate it into the challenges of overcoming serious trauma. It highlights how the power of being a part of a community in the fascinating world of martial arts can be surprising, challenging, yet transformative. With the advent of a series like "Cobra Kai" I believe there is interest in coming of age narratives that are set within the sometimes bizarre and mysterious world of martial arts. I personally love John Green's work and hopefully there is at least a taste of what he offers in terms of intensity and depth of character. The following "tags" I think would fit well in trying to describe the narrative : coming of age, drama, tragedy, karate, kata, fighting, romance, and recovery.
