He was about to say something sarcastic but she was going through a clutter in her handbag to find something, when she pulled out a handkerchief and handed him that and uttered a sorry before saying she is late and rushing out. "Vanilla" she smelled like vanilla so does her handkerchief. He hummed looking at the piece of cloth in his hand which had some embarrassing designs of cats cluttered over it. Honestly it was disgusting, he would die before getting caught with that colourful barf in his pocket but he folded it and placed it in his pocket. He was staring at her face, honestly, she was clumsy but she never looked up. he ran his hands through his hair settling it and prepared to enter. As soon as he steps foot in the room. He heard the room erupting in claps while the anchor announcing "we sincerely welcome our renowned surgeon Mr Bavyesh Malhotra to the stage." Within that chaos his eyes spotted that white dupatta in one of the chairs.

She looked at him finally when the vermillion fell on her nose after he put it on her parted hair. He looked rough who exudes a sense of authority. A shiver ran through her spine. The next wedding rituals went in a whoosh. She looks at his face he has a subtle beard with a well-defined jawline and deep black eyes which are almost like a predator. My mom puts my hand in his palms and mutters "aaj se yeh tumahari hui iss Janam kiliye"
