What's so bad about being quirkless?
Izuku Midoriya more commonly known as Deku, nerd, waste of space, and useless. Little do those with quirks understand the reality of being quirkless; how hard it is to simply survive let alone live and actually enjoy what life has to offer. Izuku hasn't had it easy in life but he at least has grown up in the real world instead of the pampered and over glorified life you gain if your given the oh so wonderful quirk. After the tragic event of losing his mother his life just spiraled further and further down the rabbit hole. I mean really; what's so bad about being quirkless? It's there senior year and the Izuku everyone knew during first year is gone, replaced by a rude, quiet, antisocial person. Towards the end of first year he suddenly broke up with his boyfriends, Kirishima, Todoroki, and Bakugo as well as pushing away/cutting off everyone else. What they didn't know was that Izuku is intersexual, a rare medical condition in which someone is born with both sides of the reproductive system. His boyfriends had impregnated him; he'd been depressed and suicidal for years, and his mother, his only family, had died several years prior. His trauma and depression caused him to be scared enough to do the thing that hurt him most- cutting off those he cares about. All of them... or not. He's been a part of a small, secret friend group since about a month after the first year began. Izuku Midoriya, Denki Kaminari, and Minoru Mineta made up the Depressed Trio or DT.
